Legal Support, CP
The Legal Support, CP provides sudents basic skills used for legal support. It also provides the foundation to ladder into the Paralegal, AAS Program.
Individuals who complete the Law Enforcement courses will receive a certificate of completion in the Law enforcement skillset at Mountwest.
The Criminal Justice Degree is available to on-campus students and law enforcement officers who have attended an approved law enforcement academy.
Veterinary technicians are an integral part of veterinary medicine and they work under the supervision of veterinarians. Technicians are considered to have the same role as nurses would to general doctors and surgeons.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Physical Therapist Assistants will find employment opportunities in home health care settings, rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing units and outpatient departments.
Patient Care Technician
Individuals who complete the below courses will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion from Mountwest Community & Technical College. Graduates will be eligible for the Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT/A) national certification exam issued by the National Health Career Association (NHA).
The Mountwest Medical Assistant program is accredited by the American Association of Medical Assistants recent role delineation study.
Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) offer a range of services from relaxation massage to precise clinical soft tissue treatment.
The Health Science program is a unique opportunity for students holding a national certification in an allied health professional field by building on that experience to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree.
Health Information Technology
Health information technicians are the professionals responsible for maintaining components of health information systems in a manner consistent with the medical, administrative, ethical, legal, accreditation and regulatory requirements of the health care delivery system
