Mountwest commencement ceremony in honor of 2020-2021 Graduates

Mountwest Community and Technical College hosted the 2020-2021 commencement ceremony in honor of recent graduates.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mounwest hosted both 2020 and 2021 graduates this year. The ceremony’s keynote speaker, Patricia Bostic, Human Resources Director at the Huntington Water Quality Board, gave life long advice and congratulations to the graduates. Patricia is a proud graduate of Mountwest, formerly Marshall Community College.

The student speaker, James Parsons, graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies, and a concentration in Media Studies. James achieved high honors, a 3.95 G.P.A., and gave reflections on behalf of the class of 2020 and 2021 in his speech. James is a true success story of Mountwest.

Over 1,200 graduates earned their diplomas from Mountwest Community and Technical College. Congratulations to the class of 2020 and 2021!
