English & Writing 

Monday: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Tuesday: 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Thursday: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.   Friday: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

Mathematics

Monday: 11:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.  Tuesday: 11:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Wednesday: 11:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Thursday: 11:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m

Biology

Tuesday: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. 

How does the ASC work?

Stop by room 107, and a friendly and experienced staff member will sit with you and talk to you about your assignment. Be sure to bring your course materials (on paper or digital) and your assignment. 

Online writing support is available, and the steps are easy! Just do the following: 

  1. Email writingcenter@mctc.edufrom your MCTC email address.
  2. Include the following attachments: 
  • writing assignment instructions 
  • your draft (Word Doc or PDF only) 

A staff member will get back to you in 24-48 hours. Please be aware that staff will neither edit nor “fix” your writing. You are the writer—we are here to support you! 

 

Scheduling a Visit 

If you would like to schedule a session with one of our tutors, please complete a  Booking request. After you choose which type of session you’d like, you can choose from the available dates and times, and then you will enter your name and contact information.
