CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS – 3 Hours each

  • AC 103 Introduction to Accounting (EDGE)
  • LAS 110 Business Organization to Government Regulations
  • MG 101 Introduction to Business (EDGE)
  • MK 130 Fundamentals of Marketing
  • Entrepreneur Elective
  • TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED 15
 
Choose from one of the following electives: 
AT 104 Records Management
AT 265 Administrative Office Procedures (PR: AT 136)
IT 212 Publishing on the Internet (PR: IT 107)
IT 242 Advanced Internet (PR: IT 212)
IT 270 Computer Essentials and Application
MG 181 Retailing
MG 202 Business Organization & Management 
 
Individuals who complete the above courses will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion from Mountwest.
 
EARN A DEGREE AND GRADUATE EARLY (EDGE) This program provides students the opportunity to receive credit for their high school EDGE courses.

Admission Requirements

The college adheres to an open admission policy which means applications with a high school diploma or GED are eligible for admission. Applicants with neither a high school diploma nor GED may be admitted on a conditional basis.
