Morgan Byrne, MA, is a three-time Maier Award-winning writer and professor. Her creative work has been published in Et Cetera, Watersoup, and Anime Feminist, among others. Her scholarly research focuses on the critical and popular reception of anime, with previous panel presentations considering approaches from pedagogical use to discussions of trauma cycles, and her creative works, both fiction and creative nonfiction, are exercises in minimalism. Her classes reflect an interest in non-traditional texts and resources, such as fanfiction and ChatGPT, with a particular focus on digital and media literacy.
