Starfish Retention Solutions is a software suite used by the college to help students find resources and get feedback early and often through their educational journey at Mountwest. Starfish is available to all regular students, including those who only attend virtually by taking online courses. The ultimate goal of using the tool is to support students from their first semester at the college until they graduate – ensuring they have the resources, support, and encouragement to return each term until they earn their degree.
Log on to Starfish by going to myMCTC and clicking on the link to Blackboard. From Blackboard, the link to Starfish will be on the right side of the screen.
