Mountwest Tuition Waivers
Mountwest offers scholarships/tuition waivers for the following students:

• Resident tuition rates for members of the National Guard
• Employee, employee's spouse and/or employee's dependent children
• Children and spouses of law enforcement, firefighter, National Guard, Reserve or Active Duty military personnel killed in the line of duty
• West Virginia residents at least 65 years old
• High school graduates in foster care

Metro Tuition Waivers
A limited number of metro tuition waivers are available to incoming freshmen from Gallia and Lawrence county (Ohio) high schools. Students must apply through their high school counselors.

Scholarships
Scholarships are now available to eligible Mountwest Community & Technical College students for the spring 2012 semester. Please carefully review the full set of guidelines and applications for each, available at Spring 2012 Scholarships, before applying. Awards will be announced in early December.
