Grants Development

Grants play an important role in supplementing state allocations and allowing Mountwest Community & Technical College to implement new initiatives that improve college access and student success, establish new academic programs of study and better prepare students to meet local workforce needs.

The Office of Institutional Development serves as the resource for researching and seeking external funding resources through private foundations and federal and state funding opportunities. The unit guides the development of grant funding proposals; assists with budget development and the completion of proposal application forms; assures compliance with federal and state regulations; and guides the implementation of grant awards.

For more information about the College’s grants or the information provided on this site, please contact Sheanna Spence, Director of Development.
