The Mountwest Foundation offers a variety of giving options designed to best meet your charitable giving interests and financial situation. You can donate now or plan for the future.

Stocks and Securities
Gifts of stocks and securities to the Mountwest Foundation offer donors significant tax benefits. You may make your stock gift via registered mail, electronic transfer or in person. A letter of intent stating the purpose of your gift, the number of shares and the name of the stock is required.
You may notify us of your plans to donate stock using our Make a Stock Gift Form.
Planned gifts through bequests, charitable gift annuities, remainder and lead trusts and donor advised funds help secure Mountwest’s future. Planning giving benefits both the organization and the donor by offering significant tax advantages and life income arrangements. With careful planning, you can leave a lasting legacy on the Mountwest community for years to come.
Many companies match employees’ contributions to nonprofits like the Mountwest Foundation. These companies may be willing to double, or even triple, the value of charitable gifts made by their employees. In such cases, you will be recognized by the Mountwest Foundation for the full amount of your gift plus your employer’s match.
Contact your company’s community relations or human resources representative to find out if your company will multiply your gift to the Mountwest Foundation.
Mountwest Community & Technical College employees can make charitable contributions to the Mountwest Foundation. To sign up, complete a Payroll Deduction Form in the Payroll Department, located in room G12D. Please bring a picture ID with you.
