Student 'Spring Fling' event set for April 25

April 19, 2013

Huntington, W.Va. - All Mountwest Community & Technical College students are invited to attend the 'Spring Fling' 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 25, on the college's main campus.

The green beside the college's main academic building will be filled with lots of fun, games, prizes and free food. Activities will include free massages, karaoke, flag football, cornhole and many other games with prizes. The event will also host Dunk Tank for the Food Bank. Each canned food item earns three chances to dunk the person in the dunk tank--all for a great cause.

The event is designed to help students decompress as they approach finals and encourage involvement in student organizations on campus.

The event is sponsored by the Mountwest Student Government Association, Office of Student Activities, International Committee, Multicultural Club, Pi Kappa Theta, Massage Club, Musicians' Club, Gastronomists' Club, Leadership in Action Club and Mountwest faculty and staff. For more information on the event, please contact Julia Joseph at 304.710.3383.
