Mountwest Community & Technical College will welcome hundreds of new students during eight orientation sessions set throughout July and August. The program aims to help provide a seamless transition into college life for new students.
Orientation will be offered on four different dates in preparation for the fall 2016 semester. Sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12; Wednesday, July 13; and Monday, August 8. Sessions will also be offered at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9. Each session typically lasts about two hours.
Students will receive an introduction to all available services and learn more about starting their college career. At orientation, students can expect to meet fellow new students, attend small group workshops, receive necessary forms and documents, meet program faculty, get their Mountwest ID, tour campus and much more.
Newly admitted students are strongly encouraged to attend. Due to seating capacity, each orientation session is by reservation only. Register by calling Student Services at 304-710-3361.
