Huntington, W.Va. - Beginning January 2, 2014, Mountwest Community & Technical College will operate on a new schedule.
Offices will be open Monday – Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Student Services, located inside the main campus, will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday.
The hours of the Inland Waterways Academy may vary depending upon operational needs.
Operational hours will be available to all students on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the use of the Academic Skills Center, the Learning Resource Center and computer labs on the first floor of the main campus building.
Additional student labs may be available for use based upon faculty making arrangements through the Office of Public Safety.
Benefits derived from the new schedule include reduced operational costs in utilities, cleaning and security, as well as reductions in commuting costs for employees and more time outside of school and work for students and employees to take care of personal responsibilities.
