Mountwest encourages recycling through Dream Machine

August 21, 2013

Huntington, W.Va. - Mountwest Community & Technical College is encouraging recycling through the installation of a PepsiCo Dream Machine on campus.

When an individual deposits empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans into the machine, they will earn points that can be redeemed for local discounts and coupons.

Additionally, each deposit supports disabled U.S. veterans. The more bottles and cans recycled through the Dream Machine program, the more support PepsiCo will provide to the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV), a national program offering experiential training, at no cost, in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 U.S. veterans with disabilities.

The machine is located on the Ground Floor just outside the Mountwest Café.
